Job Description: As a Graduate Engineer in Traffic Engineering, you will work alongside our experienced team on a variety of traffic engineering projects. Your primary role will be to support the planning, design, and analysis of transportation systems and infrastructure. This position offers a great platform to enhance your technical skills and knowledge while working on challenging and impactful projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior engineers to assist in the design and analysis of traffic engineering projects, including traffic signal plans, roadway design, traffic impact studies, and transportation planning.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess traffic flow, safety, and efficiency using various methodologies and software tools.
- Prepare technical reports, drawings, and project documentation.
- Participate in field visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in traffic engineering.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, planning, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Recent graduate or up to 2 years of relevant work experience in traffic engineering or transportation planning.
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with traffic engineering software and tools, such as Synchro, VISSIM, or AutoCAD, is a plus.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- EIT certification for Engineer Track.
